Harnessing My Creative Energy: Play, Flow, and Authenticity in Art and Life

Hello, magical people!

Today, I'm diving deep into something that’s been brewing in my mind while shaping Live Your Magic (LYM). I’ve been pondering a rather enchanting idea: what if I channel all my creative energies into LYM only when I'm in a state of pure play and flow? What if I let myself truly rest and seek other playful avenues when the spark for LYM dims momentarily?

The Philosophy of Play

It's a thrilling thought, isn't it? Envisioning a space where every piece of content, every idea, and every project emerges from an authentic essence of joy and spontaneity. This is not just about creating; it's about creating with delight, with an effervescent spirit that is infectious and inspiring.

But here's another twist—when I'm not in the mood for play, when the energies of chaos, survival, and pressure find me, I won't force myself to engage with LYM. Instead, I'll channel these intense energies into different creative outlets where they feel more at home.

My Creative Outlets from Place of Survival and Pressure:

  1. Poetry and Writing Songs - There’s something profoundly cathartic about crafting a sad song or a poignant poem. It’s like turning the chaos of my emotions into a symphony of words and melodies.

  2. Journaling - Writing down my thoughts during tough times helps me process and make sense of what I’m going through. It’s not just a release—it’s a way to document my journey, the ups and downs, in the most raw form.

My Creative Outlets from a Place of Play and Joy:

  1. Photography - I am a photographer! I have had the awesome privilege to have a career in photography. It has always been a medium in which I am able to tap into play and flow! When I get a person in front of my camera, I am immediately sucked into play. Check out my work here!

  2. Live Your Magic - This is my playground! It’s where I want to innovate and share joyfully, without constraints, where each idea springs from a fountain of happiness and creativity.

  3. Creating Businesses - There’s an unmatched thrill in turning a spark of an idea into a thriving business. It’s a process filled with challenges, yes, but the joy of building something new, of watching it grow and succeed, is incredibly fulfilling.

  4. Painting - With a brush in hand and a blank canvas in front of me, I feel free. Painting allows me to express my whimsical side, to play with colors and forms in a space where anything goes.

What If More was Created From Play?

Imagine a world where more creations stems from a place of flow and fun. How much more vibrant and energized would our lives be? This is the vision I hold for myself and for Live Your Magic. When the need arises to create from other energies, I’ll honor that too, knowing that each emotion has its own space in my creative universe.

Let’s embrace our multifaceted creative energies—whether they arise from joy or turmoil, each has a valuable place in our lives. Here’s to creating authentically, no matter where we are emotionally!

Thanks for joining me on this journey. Let’s keep making magic, and remember—play, flow, and authenticity are not just artistic strategies; they're ways of tapping into alignment!
